Real Estate Litigation
Our real estate litigation attorneys have broad experience in all types of real estate litigation. Our real estate litigation attorneys regularly handle lawsuits presenting the full variety of traditional real estate litigation issues, including disputes arising out of the sale, purchase, lease or development of land and condominiums, preconstruction deposit recovery, joint venture disputes, title claims, fraud or breach of fiduciary duty allegations, land use/permitting issues, and commercial and residential landlord-tenant disputes, evictions and lease litigation.

Business and Commercial Litigation
A good portion of our litigation practice consists of resolution of sophisticated business disputes. We represent clients in litigation involving public and closely held corporations, partnerships and corporate officers, directors and shareholders. Those disputes include counseling, preparation for, and trial of all varieties of commercial claims such as breach of contract, breach of warranty, business dissolutions, shareholder appraisal rights, bankruptcy-related disputes and a variety of business torts. Some examples include tortious interference with a contract or business, negligent misrepresentation, fraud in the inducement of a contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. We pursue and defend commercial litigation claims as traditional as the sale of goods under the Uniform Commercial Code and as esoteric as the theft of internet passwords and domain names.
Insurance Claim Litigation
The Firm represents insurance policy holders in claims against their insurance companies. Insurance Companies regularly under-pay or deny claims when the policy holder has a legitimate and valid claim against their insurance policy. We assist our clients in forcing the Insurance Companies to pay out claims by filing suit against the Insurance Companies.
Labor and Employment Litigation
Our firm represents both management and employees in various labor matters including wage and hour claims, executive breach of contract and non-compete agreement litigation and whistleblower litigation. Our attorneys are experienced with the enforcement or avoidance of covenants not to compete, claims of misappropriation of an employer’s trade secrets, breach of confidentiality agreements, employee raiding disputes, and other employee unfair competition issues. This experience often entails expedited discovery, temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and other fast-track litigation characteristic of these claims. Our lawyers both prosecute and defend these disputes for corporate clients as well as individual employees.
